And planets. Stars. Of dream and vision. Twister of grain, bringer of rain and sunlight, hear me now this morning as I rise: be in my heart and in my blood and in my mind. Reveal yourself again in the crush of traffic. In rubber and steel and vinyl, in shocks and exhaust. Appear in a mountain lake, silent granite walls around you, slopes of talus, chunks of silver in the gathering clouds. You have bent my path around so many times. You have turned me into a different thing completely. And yet I have never changed. Great guiding soul of the universe, flow through me as I go my way this morning unquestioning, in silence, unafraid.
